The Magic Of Christmas.
Laughter, voices raised and jolly
Mistletoe and spriggs of holly
Rosey cheeks and sparkling eyes
Oohs and ahhs as well as sighs
Trumpets sounding, bells are ringing
The very air alive with singing
With noses red and ears that freeze
Bringing home their christmas trees
Presents placed beneath the tree
And little eyes try not to see
Its magic of a special kind
The sort that Santa leaves behind
Spacemen, dolls and chinese checkers
Great mince pies and christmas crackers
With Santa Claus to lead the way
This is the magic of christmas day.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, isn't it? As we get older it holds a melancholy feel,  as we look back over Christmases past and who is no longer with us to celebrate those wonderful times. But watching the children makes it seem even more magical than it was in previous years.

Wonderful work, as always, Graham...your style is always perfect.

NIce little scene of Christmas you gave us here Graham. The lights hold something for me, too. Not sure what, but I like tham at night, when everyone else is sleeping I like to go for a solitary walk, and just stop to look, to let it all sink in..bundled up and cold, the lights make me feel warm still on the inside..
