Good things come in threes, or so I was told,
Since I met you, I now believe it’s real.
For one, you brought a love that I can feel,
I feel it when you hold me, strong and bold.
And two, you renewed my zest for living.
My faith had wavered, I was without hope,
You came along and taught me how to cope,
And so my heart has found peace in giving.
Then this house appeared as if a dream,
Cradled in ivy, sheltered from the storm.
The blessings of three should become the norm,
My home slid down to earth on a moonbeam.
It would be my pleasure with you alone
To make our white ivy cottage a home. |
