I Remember

I Remember

Dandelion sways in buttercup days
Butterflies dither and dance
Two lovers there by chance
In this colourful romance

A field of gold and red
The perfect bed of dreams
For scheming schemes
And watching clouds

Dreams that chased across the sky
A day of want for evermore
A daisy given from the heart
That seems so long ago.

Sounds like the "salad" days of straw in the hair.

Long gone for me...but nostalgic memories relived with these words.

With the business of life sometimes we forget those love filled, carefree days but in the corners of our mind if we reach deep we remember.
