To where you are

When I cross the bridge to where you are
Who knows what will be
Will an impression be made
As we fall together for the first time

When I cross the bridge to where you are
Draw you near for the first kiss
Will you want another
As we gaze into each others eyes

When I cross the bridge to where you are
Hold you close in these arms
Will loving be on your mind
As we express what's in our hearts

When I cross the bridge to where you are
So many miles will have been travelled
Will there be courage enough to let go
As we return to our separate lives

When I cross the bridge to where you are
A formidable wall will have been torn down
Will we wish it to be rebuilt again
As I cross that bridge to you

Love will grow ever stronger
When I cross the bridge to where you are

Wonderful poem Henry~

Very heartwarming and inspiring...presenting both trial and success equally.

Well presented and illuminating my friend.

It is not often that two souls as beautiful as yours meet. It is not by chance it is by fate. The gods have given you both a chanceof happiness and you both have a choice, stay where you are or take this chance that has been given with blessings. They can only send you the person, it is up to you to embrace the love given. You both deserve to be so happy.

Much love to a couple who are soulmates for sure

My only advice is to never look back after crossing it, and you won't have to. She'll hold your interest I'm sure, lol..this was certainly full of love but also a little fear I felt. Love is a big risk, and one that doesn't always pay off. Not true in this case, but when you cross that bridge, you will be fine.
Really nice to read this this am...

When two hearts are drawn together, there is no room  for regret or walls or anything negative. It's time for  beginning  to build memories and to enhance the love that brings them  together. With a heart such as the one you display, hon, I can assure you,  she would be crazy as a loon to not do everything possible to give you just  as much  love and beauty as you  give her.

Beautifully done, Henry....
