Haunted Pastels
Ceaseless constant roaring of wave breakers
on the solitary ghostly twilight shores

Dim now this fading light of dying wonder
on the distant winds of timeless thunder

Solemn with gathering sea's array
this lifeless changing  moan

Weathered floating drift wood left behind
in the creeping low fog now alone

Dark seashore caves and wet stones
Breathing waves kissed by the watery heaven

Colored were the changing skies
in haunted pastels of twilight

Lovely as always dear.

I have a pastel painting that this could very well be describing.

You paint quite a picture with your words.

Hugs,

Richard
