I tripped and fell Into an open wound That never mended I chased darkness But her tears left me silent I never saw so much silence In a day that left me wanting Cursing the earth That ever touched my lips and left me in the strangest song i have ever lived

Very sad emotional write John. An open wound that never heals is pain that lingers and longs for healing and longs to be resolved. Hugs my friend.
