Beautiful and very true. Love is all we have in the end. No one wants to tell someone they hate them on their death bed, they want to say they love them. Without love there is nothing.

This is very nice.
No matter how much I hate to admit it, love is probably pretty wonderful. We all need it in some form.

Can I just say this...helllll yes! Oh this was just a FINE piece of work John, and it has to go to favs. This earth WAS made for love..be it in a relationship, friendship..just something as simple as being kind is an act of love. Never enough of it IMO, but I always figure it has to start here first...beautiful work, thankful to have stopped by.

A very concise and well written piece of prose. It's often said that love makes the world go 'round...and it's true.
I enjoyed the style that you used and the parallelism in the metaphors. It made this a very enjoyable read.
