Southern Night

Spanish moss blurs the night

And mutes the moon.

Summer breezes waft fragrant scents

Of the Magnolia bloom.

Crickets chirp their songs, so in tune.

A lover's kiss comes none too soon.

Oh, sweet bliss...

A southern night in June.
