Beyond Mortal Sight
She hurt just beyond the mortal sight
of the watching darkening doorways

Now her renouncing emotions tears
stalked within shrouded realm of madness

She felt ancient among her kind life's solitude
she drifts aimless through the struggling years

Without an embracing touch a prisoner
of her own stubborn cryptic heart

Her darkness of ravenous pain all around
renouncing the horror that life had dealt

She seemed cursed with helpless realization
desperate perplexing unanswered questions

Her fleeting life was like a wild river
dark and deep as it gathers into
the destructive silence

This relentless truth is residing
in her fractured unforgiving mind

Always struggling against the constant battles
the lying seeds of hate and despair
as it feeds on the daily sorrows
of her squandering heart

Tears spilled like never ending water
then swept away into the dark pools
of her tormented emotions

No longer will her love for him
ever try to speak or whisper
to the uncaring winds of lost time

Buried dreams must stay where they belong
in graveyard of dark ghostly thoughts
now to rot and forever decay

Now yesterdays shadows hang over her
mingling  together with the shades of night
leaving now no place to run
or to even hide away

He remains silent
