In That Moment

That moment

I have seen
The shimmering silence
On a lake
Where the moon was king.
The giants standing
All around
Waiting for eternal spring.
In that moment
I saw your eyes
Captured by this sweet surprise.

Then I knew.

Simply stunning work John. I hope who ever it was that inspired this exquisite write knows exactly how you feel. I know if someone felt like this for me, I would surely want to hear of it. I envy this woman that has captured your heart and inspired such incredible poetry.

Nothing compared to what you saw, and the way this was stated was eloquent and tender indeed.
Lovely job John.

Excellent John as romantic a piece as I've read in a long time.
