What Can One Do When It Takes Two?
What can one do when your world spins
and all bear witness to your sins?
Simply being rich qualifies
you for tabloid fodder and lies.
Seeking fame, the all important dollar we woo.
If one is born into this life, what can one do?

When it takes two to make headlines,
when are we going to grow spines
And refuse to waste good money
     on wild stories starring Britney,
Paris, Kirstie Alley or heaven forbid, you?
We both dance the tango of shame when it takes two.

Yes, thats why I don't buy newspapers! Nice and succinct expression of the salacious preponderence of celebrity scandals.

There are people that live vicariously through the rich and famous.  I agree with Len ,we have Hollywood types to amuse us. If we keep watching, they will keep acting stupid.

I really don't get why anyone cares what Paris or Brittany are up to. I suspect that we love to have a class above us to revel about when they screw up. The British have royalty. We Americans have to settle for celebrities, I guess...len

The art of supply and demand, as long as there are people desperately demanding trashy tabloids; there will always be people to supply those needs.  Even once reputable news media have put in their 2 cents on Paris, Britney, and any other star gone wild...

Well done, Patty...and I agree with you! So much garbage in the media...and we only encourage it when we watch the shows and buy the tabloids...Yup...it takes two!

Hugs...

Glata
