Looking at love from both sides
She's gone now, left my soul in tatters
All I see is her face, nothing else matters
What went so wrong? Why was I blind
Not to see the torment building in her mind
There goes life again, playing it's cruel game
Without her love, I'll never be the same
Just when we thought we had it all
Life intervened and set us up for a fall
Her hand fit in mine just like a glove
Only she knows why she fell out of love
I don't even know the reasons why
It feels like the sun has fallen from the sky
Boy was I wrong, I just couldn't see
This guy was completely wrong for me
Oh he had me falling for a little while
Until I found out he was worse than a child
A faithful, loving man he was for sure
But in the end, he was too immature
I could love him sure, even with all his flaws
Because he does have some talented paws
He knows what I like, yes he makes me feel good
But there's more to loving than some great wood
I can't get past the tedium, sometimes he's a jerk
I guess when all's said and done, he'd be too much work
Author's Notes:
Yeah, sometimes it's just the way it is!!

If someone is too much work, then you're not really in love..The real deal doesn't require work to work. len
