Daylight Fantasies and Night Time Dreams
Daylight fantasies and night time dreams Reveal desires for the one who has my heart. They grow more fanciful when we are apart, Like moonlit picnics beside country streams.   The images I create often steam From the passion we had from the start. Daylight fantasies and night time dreams Reveal desires for the one who has my heart.   If only we didnít have to go to extremes To share a few moments together that dart Away swifter than a leaping hart. Author's Notes:
Done in the Rondel form.  A French form consisting of 13 lines:  two quatrains and a quintet, rhyming as follows:  ABba abAB abbaA.  The capital letters are the refrains, or repeats.
There never seem to be enough time to spend with the ones we love.
