Emotional Reservoir

A reservoir of all that is me overflows

Emotional dam breached

My life spilled about

No longer can it be contained

The river of feelings a torrent rage

A tide of my own humanity

Pooling in distant moments

The reflections all to clear

Fear, doubt, insecurity

Cathartic waves flow

My essence is cleansed

My hope and faith renewed

What was drifted away

What can be washes up gently

The future is now my lifesaver

Amen! We all need to cleanse and find renewal from time to time, its a must.
You could go far with this one, so many of your writes.
Keep up the great penning!

This is good.  Really a great piece piece of poetry.

I really like the rawness you embodies in your poetry.  It is real and true.
Stunning job here Steve, a poem of poems.

Wow...you're on a roll. This is another stand-out penning.

You should enter this one for a Feature.

I especially like the last verse.

Loved it all.

Steve I love the openess and raw emotions here....I'm feeling this and more....but at this moment the future seems all too bleak, I do need my essence cleansed.

A needful read for me.

~Cindy
