May the Brambles that surround the heart
With Thorns still sharp and pointed
Disolve away, on what they lay
To leave the scars annointed
May all the tears fall dry as dust
On ground to make it fertile
To make me feel, that which is real
For just a little while
Take from the air, a soft sweet breeze
To blow away my sorrow
Within thine eyes, now hear my cries
And lighten up the morrow

More a psalm or a prayer, than a poem; though, it just might be semantics in the long run.  Beautiful.

This is for sure a heart jerker so much sadness and mourning I know this feeling and even though time does make the pain lesser it also makes the memories brighter. Excellent write here hold one you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. It just takes so much time and patience.
