Bell Songs
Night holds the song of bells
beneath the cloudless sky,
and woos the Texas moon to sing
her sweetest lullaby.

Unceasingly their silver tones
recall memories and words we said
that fed the hungry heart in love
with more than earthly bread.

When I commune beneath the stars
I see ethereal light
lure bell songs from the trees
throughout the low voiced night.

Richard,
There is nothing like them Texas bell tones... Sighing with the gold in the full moon and the winking diamond stars... Astonishing poem my dear friend.
