Oh, What a Ride
Ride the coaster
Rising high
Plummeting low
And then I cry
Rise high again
Then lower still
Eggs a no-show
For me no thrill
The tubes are blocked
Get me off this ride
Belly is swollen
No babe inside
Needles and drugs
And tests galore
Ten years of this
I want no more!

Amy, this is truly one of the most emotionally honest and sincere poems I have ever read.  May the light divine providence shine on you.

This is a great metaphor for the emotions expressed.

Ride the coaster

Rising high

Plummeting low
