If you look up at the stars and find beauty in the way they shine
Then take a minute to realize that they are burning to be alive

And that we are stars; it is the fire within us that makes us survive

this may just be my bizarre mind working overtime, but i always think when i am overwhelmed with a starry night of the fact that the very stars we see may actually have burnt out millions of years ago, and the burnt out light just hasn't travelled to us yet...anyway i connect that thought with these lines you've written...indeed "burning to be alive"...nicely written.

Hey this is really good. It seems this is speaking of the same type thought that inspired  my poem titled 'By Grace And By Faith" Dealing with the realization of our own mortality vs. our eternal spiritual  life. At least thats my take.
