Unconquerable Pride
Unconquerable pride did betray his only heart
 a mere mortal woman tore it completely apart

His pondering brow was skilled to hide
but his aged eyes knew it was hard
to swallow his manly pride

To save what was left of his shattered mind
he turned away he didn't want the truth
his farewell tears would find
