The weight of time won’t steal my memories

Each falling tear reflects visions of our love

I trace silent steps with thoughts of only you

Loneliness moves with me like my shadow

Days slow the moment of your return to me
Our love is a chain that will never be  broken

The waiting must be torture knowing there is risk involved. Your poem indicates you understand how a woman in the situation feels. Tender write Steve.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...Sometimes, it makes the heart grow fonder for someone else, but that's another story.  :o)..Nicely worded, Shady Steve...len
