Cloaked
I poured yet another glass of red incriminating wine
Taking another sip just to numb my troubled mind

Not sure what to say or what to even write
I just know there is something different
happening to me tonight

All diamond stars have fallen on Texas
without a single crashing sound

Heartbroken moon is out of sight now
only a black stillness ground

Endless clouds dominate the weeping sky
even the loyal night birds song start to cry

Night cloak grasps grateful moments forever cherished
restless night was lost in whispering conversation
then love drifting shadows perished

Loved this read just hope everything is ok

Heartbroken moon is out of sight now
only a black stillness ground

Endless clouds dominate the weeping sky

even the loyal night birds song start to cry

Such beauty yet such sadness in these amazing words
.........hugs Cathy

Wonderful flow She!!!

I'll have you know, I've put in a "Special Order" for a star filled Texas sky...

And you night song birds had better tune those chirping beaks!!!

Because She Whispers requires a grand performance!!!

You know that you are loved by your poetic family!!!

Oh dear my spirit sis..don't know what has befallen you but it sure has given voice the the most sublime poem...

All diamond stars have fallen on Texas
without a single crashing sound

having seen the Texas starry sky for myself I was instantly transported back there.......so beautiful
