Unwritten

Somewhere between here and eternity
your soul is measured
by the moments which take your breath away
from the hands that holds your heart,
yet still frequently yearning confessions of love and loyalty
as reminder that you are still alive.
Just a drop in the ocean really
as forever progress,
you search endlessly for those unwritten words
which reign your heart.

I think every poem I have ever written is a poor

attempt to find that which is unwritten.

This poem takes my breath away.
To use your words -

I am still searching for those unwritten words
which reign in the heart.

DEar Adri - those first three lines are really wonderful - a bit like the Yogisc idea that the length of you life is measured not in years or hours or minutes or seconds but by the number of breaths.

love

This poem is interwoven with such deep thought and tenderness of expression...

I sometimes feel that love is all we ever need and the realisation is so simple but so difficult to maintain...

My heartfelt wish would be that everyone finds their true soul mate..including me...

Lovely write Adri.

The search for love

Can be bitter sweet

But the confirmation

Of those three words

Is the food on which we feed.

Ah now Adri, this is so soft and tender, a bit of misery also encoded into it I think. We are all at a loss for the words to say some things, sometimes, but not here. This was lovely.
