From across the table
Gazing at you from across the table
Your beauty enhanced by candlelight
There is an aura all around you
Will you dance with me tonight
The meal we ordered was perfect
Everything was done just right
The flickering light sets your face aglow
Your beauty enhanced by candlelight
A romantic after dinner walk
You speak the words I love you true
Your angelic face now bathed in moonglow
There is an aura all around you
We arrive home, lovemaking is on our minds
Oh this feeling we never fight
In the afterglow I make just one request
Will you dance with me tonight
A practice of this we should make
Time for romance whenever we are able
This night of love was started by
Gazing at you from across the table

I always feel a bit horny after a nice meal and a couple of buckets of wine, so I can empathise with this one!

Are you kidding me? You blind bastard, you can't see three feet in front of you let alone across any table!  LOL! Seriously Henry, very nicely done here. Congrats on a well deserved award. Then again, you probably can't see the screen anyway or the golden hubcap on your page!  LOL! Joe

Outstandingly beautiful, Henry...Your romantic heart is showcased perfectly, and any lover would crave a night like this! Candle light dinner, dancing close, moonlit walk...Yes, a perfect night, ended with the perfect conclusion; making love.

I think that if I close my eyes, I can hear the music playing quietly...

Awesome job, me dear...but then, that's always the case, lol!

It only takes a spark to start a fire or, as proven in this poem, gazing across the table works too. Romantic and lovely! =))
