I read this poem of so much beauty and depth it almost made me cry
About how once oppositely directed souls had come to align
Why heartbeats merge like waves and how hopes crash like tides
About how he didn't need math to tell how love should be defined
How ups and downs like sines are just part of being alive
How daring your self to overcome fears feels so sublime
How his love was so good it was pretty much a crime
And a faith in God was responsible for making him survive
And as I read this I felt happy and so reenergized
Because that much passion was able to come from one person's eyes
A poem of life, the world around us and of the stars that shine

Then suddenly I opened my eyes because all the lines rhymed
I look at the poem again and realized that it had been mine the whole time

One always has a soft spot in your heart for your own work.  I liked the images and

the generosity of your spirit.
