There comes that time to put aside
When most men go to seek a bride
Though this sounds easy, it is not
As girls are taught straight from the cot
You make the running, or so it seems
To find a girl to share your dreams
She'll duck and dive, and hide when sought
For she'll decide when she is caught
You'll feel elated, float on air
Your days will pass with out a care
She'll be on your mind, both day and night
Until you see her dressed in white
And if you are lucky, you will find
She'll give you love and peace of mind
But if you're not, then pray to Mars
You'll have made a cage with out the bars
With open heart you took a wife
Pledged your vows, the sentence life
So don't be hasty because of dreams
If it all goes wrong, who will hear your screams. |
