The Sea

The SEA

The real realm is not that palace

Made of decorated walls and of splendid roofs

And that a magnificent carpet made for only kings and queens.

But true kingdom is that a brief while next to your dearest dream.

When I could journey through my memory

I reached my dreaming castle

There, I admired all the flowery moments, I have ever lived.

In that special castle of mine,

Next to my inspiring, stranger and further companion,

I went so far through the colourful sea.

It was a mirror of the sky

Reflecting the intense sincereness

It was a genuine friend of all the forlorn hopes.

I saw the sea-gull approaching so close to me

It wanted to reveal the secret of the sea wildness

It wanted me to spread my wings and fly over its mystery.

I did smell that a humid perfume when the meek waves kissed the sand

And I did enjoy the melody played with the ropes of those sorrowful waves

Those waves that moved to and fro, fetching the strand.

What a magi!

I saw the glittering tears of all the lost souls dancing upon that sea

I saw a tender father holding his little son on his shoulders

Jumping here and there, carrying all the happiness of the world

And looking for a drop of that a salty sea to be watered with

What a romantic scene!

Thanks great father for being a home of love

I was not a painter to draw such a painting

But I lived each scene and

I wished to stay there, in the only true realm

I wanted to run away from lies and dryness

It was time to choose;

Either the shadowy existence; or the furthest happiness

But,

In all of a sudden, the wind grew angry

It started wailing,

I wondered why a sharp whistle did roam on me

As if it wanted to steal my written words

It didn’t want me to enclose all my innermost feelings

Those feelings that have been so deeply buried.

All that I lived in those brief seconds was but a legend

Hush ……………….it was

A secret of a silent heart

and a secret of a mysterious sea, too.

Author's Notes:
The mystery of the sea is an obscurity that evertbody wishes to discover and the mystery of heart is an obsecurity too.

Well, Audiences and readers do try to compare and find the similarities between this two.

the words you choosed are nice and the sea is the mirror of sky is a kind of suitable. what do you mean of "great father" for being a home of life"?

 This is a suggestion here,

You can make your adjectives more concreat.

your poem is still nice

I think the sea is a word where only butterflies place their dreams.
