It'd Be Grand!

If I were rich, Id have a home

in every climate of the land.

The one in snow would have a dome.

If wishes came true, itd be grand!

My desert home would be adobe,

built for my own rock & roll band,

our winter refuge by the sea.

If wishes came true, itd be grand!

I would start my Holidays at

my autumn home in New England

with Halloween and my black cat.

If wishes came true, itd be grand!

A southern home for the springtime,

the dogwood trees, you understand,

grows and blooms best in that clime.

If wishes came true, itd be grand!

Id spend my summers in Flagstaff,

just to run a lemonade stand

for the tourists and share a laugh.

If wishes came true, itd be grand!

Any home would be paradise

if I had you holding my hand

in our home of any size.

If wishes came true, itd be grand!

Wishful thinking doesn't hurt anyone.
I like this and makes this lazy afternoon more dreamy.
Well done Patty--
