Swept away in the tide of life
I remember the rocks
That i clinged to and
The pebbles that touched me.
Words only find open hearts and minds
I hope my words will find you
I have been away
But i am back today
Sunshine always finds the tiniest flower
In the darkest corner of the garden.

Loved this John but would drop the last 3 lines--the poem makes a stronger impact if you end it at "In the darkest corner of the garden". Welcome back!

you just never know when the words you write will reach the reader and be just the words

that he/she needed to hear!  "words only find open hearts and minds"  They may be nothing about you... or all about you...but either way.. very personal and very touching!  "sunshine always finds the tiniest flower in the darkest corner of the garden" is just the words i was needing to well as many others i am convinced. With gratitude, shee
