The Forest of Bere.
Sitting here beneath the Beech
Green Fern and yellow Gorse
Basking in the sunshine
At one with natures force
As peaceful as the day is long
Its beauty so serene
Springtime in its glory
As the eye has ever seen
Ivy creeps up Silver Birch
To sway in gentle breeze
In rhythm with the Daffodils
So eager now to please
This feeling of tranquility
Plays softly on the ear
To while away an hour or two
In this place that I hold dear.
Author's Notes:

A place where peace rules supreme in the middle of my chaotic day just an hour there makes a difference.

We all need a place where we can close our eye
and just listen to Gods grace...
I have missed you my dear friend
