Lay This to Rest
Knock me down, don't help back up,
I like the struggle of what I am worth,
The stronger I get, the weaker your blows are to my mind,

I like the pain of letting you win,
That's how I conquer your next tribulation,
You have lost control of my heart,

You will grow weak enough to call it quits,
I will grow strong enough to follow through,
Who will be the one to laugh?  or better yet...cry?

Although you have helped to overcome my past, you have seldom shown me a brighter future,
I know you are looking for companionship elsewhere,
All I have to say is good luck,

Even though we have yet to put this so-called-relationship to rest,
You are out there on the prowl,
In turn shows that you are over this as much as me,

What are you waiting for?
Do you like tearing  people to shreds?....Does it make you feel like a big, tough, man?
Sometimes....well, most of the time I pray for you to hit me.....knock me out,

Physical abuse is a lot less  painful than mental and emotional,
Good luck on your journey finding that one for you,
The one whose sole existence is to make you happy,

Hopefully she comes to you soon,
I pray that she is everything you want and more, for her sake,
Because if not there is one thing I would like to tell her........"GET OUT!!!!!!!!"

Dear God l hope this is not a reality for you my precious India.

No man and l mean no man cannot justify his position when he abuses his wife or girlfriend, he is lost, he is not a man but a cowardly no good whose name should be posted on every door and pole and newspapers that the world shall know and despise his wicked heart. He is not a man for real men do not abuse do strike out in anger at their partners no matter what they have done.

India this is self explanatory and as someone who has received abuse l know that feeling of wantimng to scream out, l did and my world changed forever. its not easy and that first step is very hard, but with friends it can happen.

Bless you for sharing with us on what is a very difficult subject, but this helps, it really does and others will tell you that for themselves.

You are not alone my dear swet friend and you are loved and you are NEVER alone.

Colinxxx
