A Damned One's Confession
Some of you may ask what a Damned one is,
but I'm sure deep down you know.
Some of us call us damned,
because they think that what we are is a curse.
Half of us,
didn't want to become what we are.

Now me,
I have seen the fall of the french monarchy,
I've seen the rise of Europe,
and the rise of the Germans,
and their fall.
I also remember the witch hunt's.

I have murdered more people than I can count,
in my need to feed,
and more in the grips of anger.
My life for me is not a cursing,
it might have been if I hadn't found her,
my Alaizabel.

I have been alive for a 1,000 years,
964 of those years without her.
I was to protect her,
from others of our kind.
She was a mortal,
and I the fool, fell in love with her,
and she with me.
Ours was a forever love,
and she would be turned at a time of her choosing,
not mine.

I have killed for her,
and I have betrayed my family,
and my world for her.
All for the love,
of a mortal girl.
