Jack Frost
jack frost a real name, not a disguise your sparkling crystals are like gems in my eyes   unlike the snowman who plays in the snow you melted last winter oh, where did you go?   did it take desert heat to send you back to me? alone in the dark and your house, a hundred and three   now i know why i keep it so cold my little house an oasis, i'm told   to be continued...jan   up with the sun as it peeks over the ridge rising to fresh coffee and plenty in the fridge   i feel my heart like a knock at the door and notice yours too a big puddle on the floor
Author's Notes:
i wrote this for my sister to make her smile...and to help her see what a gem Jack is...
