well Trevor, these words may not come as a giant surprise to you
I've tried to get the courage to say them many times before
maybe you will listen this time
when you read this I will be gone
this signifies the final part of our life together
I will not give you the chance to drag me under the watery deep
with another one of your recurrent and downward spiraling discussions...
like a skipping record playing in my mind
how stupid, inconsiderate, and totally worthless I am
You dont worry me anymore...
I've tried everything I know how to do
I've discovered  I'm never going to be good enough
I am not a good performer when it comes to jumping through hoops
and bending over backwards
I'm not one of your inventions
I'm not your "work in progress"
I could have shown you a better way
to deal with your insecurities
why couldnt you trust me to be the genuine person with whom you fell in love?
I tried with all my might to teach you how to love
I know you had a harsh and lonely introduction to childhood
but we all have dysfunction in our background
that is no excuse
all that could have been erased
if only you would have allowed me to be your gentle teacher
Mildness, Unselfishness, Kindness, Generosity; indeed Love
those were the gifts I was willing to give freely and abundantly
I no longer compel nor implore you to learn Love's excelling ways
someone else  will have to take my place as your teacher
you have forced me to assume this position
by your habitually and incessantly ugly behavior
towards me and the boys
we are not the disruptive ones in the family
Love has faded far from my eyes
I offer this letter as a standard courtesy just to let you know my address
we will be spending the summer at the lake house
please allow us to live quietly and peacefully
I look forward to each independent and triumphant new day
signed, Tanya

Hello Linda,

I was so surprised when arriving at the end of this well worded work when finding out it was again the fruit of a wordbank!  How completely did this great writing capture me into its pureness of reality!  Its simply amazing what you can do with the words given to you, Travis offerings have found a place of splendor to live in for ever!

Greetings: Peter

This is one of those letters that HAS to be written and the recipient wishes did not arrive~!  It is a strong, verbal stance of feelings that explain anguish in making a life changing decision....And, the agony of not being able to change the situation....Great insight, great write...
