West Virginia Calls

Ancestors roamed the deep valleys and snowy mountains

Bear and deer plentiful in long ago by-gone centuries

Lush forest greenery vibrant in the Summer

Winter snow surrounds and caves are home for ancestors

Our paths met in a long ago time line

Young and carefree: we laughed, smiled and fell in love

Our marriage by the Shaman, foresaw years of happiness

You became Leader Paladin Warrior of our tribe

Our Tribe, a Legend of Peace and True Link to the Spirit Path

We grew in Wisdom and your Leadership caring and wise

The Winter came too early == the Winter too cold, snowy/ice storms

My Spirit roams the West Virginia forests searching for The Paladin

A visual legend you have served us with great illuminating lines...It is a great glimpse into the life of The Paladin Warrior.... One would believe that this was within one of your past lifetimes....

Margaret.....seeking the storyline from a friend....

Lady D , this touches me because I'm doing genealogy and hv just found a line in my ancestry to goes back to the Patawomeck Indians of Stafford area of Virignia...this Warror of yours would have lived not so very far away.   Lovely poem.   Savannah
