Teddy Bears Dream
Teddy Bears Dream
What disregard when age changes
Are the dreams we shared with Teddies
No more our lonely nights
A friendly face teardrops brings
When Teddy Bears Dreams
We lock in bins
We forget so much
But when the night hurts
How we long for eyes
And a friendly face
And a soft cuddle
We muddle in the fuddle
Having lost a friend.
Author's Notes:
I lost my Teddy. He was my lonely night. Thrown in the bin. I don't do abouts. Many years ago i was scared of the dark. He was the words my parents should have said. But i guess he was me and i found it out for myself. How could i miss an inanimate object?.

I had a teddy bear once and know how you felt
I was lost without it...

Because it is our comfort, and our dependent, and just ours.  I can identify a lot with this piece.
