Captured Words
My office table with all my emotions
captured words clutter paper
and many tablets about

My world of new and tattered poem books
in my book shelves and laying about
and even in my bedroom
Reading long after the moonlight
has arched the black velvet sky
outside on my huge patio

 My dawning desert world with
spiraling purples melting
into golden pinks

Trying to refresh my sleepy head
with several cups of black coffee
 the cool breath of morning
refreshes my stale lungs

Here is my desert haven
its so quiet here and the
mountains embrace me

Except the coo of morning doves
What a glorious blessing
I have been given

Gods Country

Wonderful description of your home in the desert. Sounds like you have everything you could want.

I am envious India, to be able to sit on a veranda until dawn must be wonderful, here l think i would last about five minutes at the moment!.

Bless you for sharing with us and may the sanctuary of the desert support you forever.

What an outstanding, beautiful poem.  Your expressions were extremely vivid.  Love the cooing of the morning doves.

This is just simply beautiful, India....The beauty is in the visuals that you give the reader of your surroundings...Sounds absolutely lovely there...I am so glad that you feel blessed within your world....

What a picture you draw of your own little piece of paradise.
