A Longing, Deep Within My Soul
I long to feel your peace within my soul
To go to a place where no one goes..
To touch the wind beneath my feet
To fly with wings so high in the sky
I long to touch the ocean waves as they're crashing in
To hear the roar of the waves crash along the shore
To be in a place of peace where love can heal all my wounds
To know I will never have to worry about being alone
I long to be in a place where my heart will not break, nor shall my tears fall down my face..
To feel you.. beside me.. I long to hear you.. ( To feel your breath upon me )
I long to see your face..oh Lord
I long to feel your presence before me..
I long to see your angels surround me with your grace
To hear your praises all around me..
I long to walk the beach of heaven, run my toes through the sand..
I long to feel your face in the palm of my hands..

I love how your spirituality feeds into your writing. Clearly, it is where you draw your inspiration, which is not uncommon. And yet it never ceases to amaze me both the kinds of beauty and destruction such a thing can create in people. It is neither good nor evil; negative or positive. It's a true balance and incredibly perplexing to me..and to this day I struggle to understand.

But I suppose that is all a part of being human, yes?

Your words are beautiful. Continue to create beauty with spirituality and religion where others are not so constructive and create only hatred and destruction toward those who do not share their faith.
