A New Voice
I'll cry for you But I won't be your comfortable liar. Closure gives me this Moment of luxury. Never again shall I apologize For your insecurities.   No longer a lonely visitor On this planet held at arm's length.  I'm moving little by little  To the Land Where I Belong... My Paradise.   I see the spring moon; A reflection of someone new Rising above the lofty mountain of love.  I recognize the language that speaks Between two hearts.   A new voice sings to me From deep inside the fire...   "Don't stop dancing!  Feel the calypso in the toe of your boot. Celebrate one last sunrise. Inhale the scent of apricot blossoms. Awaken the quiet and mild spirit... The woman in you"   A probing question I ask myself... Will you be there To sail on dreams of a brown eyed-girl To dance on the shoulders of Camelot Across the outstretched hand... Of Paradise?

This poem is comprised of a strong voice and wisdom...the unfolding of the message of a  new lease on love was breathtaking. "the language that speaks between two hearts"...unmistakable! Ending this piece with questioning was a nice touch. Lovely word bank and excellent use of the words/phrases. Bravo!
