Mahala In Wonderland

Swaying trees with fallen leaves stretch up
Fanned limbs with fingers praise
The heavenly sky
Emptied of tears left to cry

Giant wood pigeon whispers to me
Lets me climb between her wings
The butterflies of fresh fruit
Dance with me, freshly emerged

Gentle breeze, the chorus of fragrance
Runs my senses through meadows green
Hands scooping up wild flowers
Twinkle little petals float down

Then walk with me after resting,
Back coushioned by the fallen leaves
Having counted the clouds waltz past
And seen four birds salute above

Travel to my wonderland
If the preview doesn't amaze,
For through the gates await my dreams
That I refuse to capture on page

Oh Mahala, this is the most enchanting piece of poetry...I respect your talent with words...thanks for sharing your wonderland with us...simply beautiful!  I feel a total connection with nature...my favorite phrase, "giant wood pigeon whispers to me, Lets me climb between her wings"  ...placing this in my favorites...it love how it sings to me.
