What Pretty Words
What Pretty Words

If all else
Had not escaped this tongue
What pretty words
Could have conjoured
How so simple
If not bereft
The life it has become
So silent the sea
Life
In it's wake
What pretty words
We presume
Take all
What do we know
What do we care
Pretty words
Always catch me
Un aware.
