taffeta in sapphire blue
lost in a room filled with people
 flickering candlelight
drinks on ice
flat effect
like water colors
in the rain
Author's Notes:
read between the lines.  30 words or less...a practice in brevity.  a challenge found on Pamela's page.

I like this.  Is it a minimalist poem?  I always thought that much could be said in a few words.  Nice write.

Oh you did a fine job here.  I might even omit "flat effect" as well because the entire piece speaks it already.  Well done.
Like water colors in the rain - projects a wonderful image. Nice work with brevity.  ~Pamela
