You're Sure It's Yours -- Anns Poetry Calendar

Mommy bird surveys the nest

Two daughter birds are claiming their areas

Leaves of different colours gleam

One girlie likes the green with yellow

The other girlie happily goes for the greenish brown

Each little lady bird preens in her colourful area

As Mommy bird smiles, she says to each one
You're sure it's yours?

Happy chirps make for a happy evening
