❤❤.**☆ Daughters ☆**.❤❤
Daughters are a precious gift
Sent from heaven's delightful windy drift
A natural instinct and intuition
From a journey of love's completion
A constant, reminder to love whole heartly
For time shall come and go, swiftly
From baby dolls, to pony tails
To daddy's hammer, tacks and nails
To summer camps, and pj parties
Then before ya know it, your baby is in her thirties
Life passes so quickly, but yet so mysteriously
Hold on to those dreams, cherish them wisely
For someday, your baby will be grown
Out making choices all of her own

As Babies I feared my daughters.  I didn't want to break them.  As teenagers I was ready for them to lead their own lives ... for I could do nothing right.  Out and on their own it was amazing .... suddenly my wife and I had wisdom in their eyes.  As in your poem, I had to watch my tools, though they usually did put things back.
Now that they are in their thirties and live far away,  ..... I miss them.
Your poem followed their lives quite well.
