Jennifer

her
 passion
is her poetry
she takes her inspiration from the night sky
"I feel the moon has a personal smile just for me."
"The stars are loved ones that twinkle
 in the sky."
standing on a distant hill
with a mountain of dreams
she comes to us with love sonnets,
shooting stars, and glittering moonbeams

To name
A reason my love for you shines
Is like pulling stars from our gorgeous sky
Hands cannot pluck a star from nature's designs
For onto this earth, shooting stars fall and die
Love finds a way
It has brightness that binds
Stars take their course
Love's connection
aligns

Beautiful remnants of peacocks and flamingos
 feather her cozy nest
She views her two precious children
As her greatest achievements yet

She sings
 a pretty love song...
the sound of Country is what she likes best
She dances the Boot Scootin' Boogie
better than the rest
Heel to toe, heel to toe, and doci do
c'mon baby,  let's do the Cotton Eye Joe.

the scent of Lily of the Valley
takes her breath away
with this knowledge
her husband presented a heartfelt gift...
a bushel-full of Lily of the Valley
to plant in her garden
a simple gesture
will bring her
to tears

Love
to her
is complicated
but each day she and her true love
are learning, practicing, and perfecting...
waiting for the arrival of their golden years
when they become professional lovers
she is
a classic beauty with one golden curl
the delicate features of the cameo
were carved from the silhouette of this special girl
it has been said that when she smiles
 eyes of little children brighten

in reality...
simply, when she smiles
the whole world brightens

she is ariesgirl
the hoosier bride
  our friend...
Jennifer

Author's Notes:
To Jennifer...Thanks for sharing your loving heart, beautiful mind, and inspiring poetry with us.

The lines in purple are taken from her sonnet, Stars Shine and Roses Bloom. I wanted to use more of her poetry but ran out of space so head on over to her profile and read some of her delightful poems...such as the feature award winner, Slow That Mustang Down,  as well as, For My Children, and many others.

MJ:  A very complimentary description of a person that seems to deeply touch everyone with whom she comes in contact.  What a tribute -- a testimony to friendhip and uncondiitonal love she exhibits in her relationships with family and friends.  Wonderful poetic tribute.  Tristan

woohooo what a great tribute to the blushing pole-dancing hoosier bride - one of the true stars in the galaxy of talented writers that is c-p - as is the author of this fine salute - the two of you are world-class and i'm proud to count both of you as "friend"
