Strong ~*~ As Death
Love is strong as death ...

The fantasies they had
woven for years

Simply fell apart then was reformed
in new wild colors threaded
with helpless aching love
and desperate need

Now Jealousy once again strikes
its as cruel as the very cold
unforgiving buried grave

The spiritual loving wind
snatched the love words
forever away

when loves sweet flower dies there is no sadder sight or feeling and the truth burns to ash and is lost forever. India such sad words but beautifully written.

Wow! A great poem.  This is strange just five minutes ago I was comparing Love to death with another comment I made.  Love can certainly make or break a life.

Now, don't let a lost love turn you sour.  He was the failure, not your love.  Not all men are like that.  You have much more love in you than to let that bum affect you like that.
I like your love poems better, but this does have a beautiful ring to it

Wow!!  This write is melancholy as well, dear India...When the words of Love are no more---then the flame dies, I feel....

Thank you for bringing us such a detailed look at Love gone wrong....
