The Tie That Never Dies

There is a tie that never dies

between a mother and her son,

no matter distance or reason

or wherever their fates decides,

she feels it when he is close by,

even when he is far away.

She prays for him day after day

and knows how swiftly time can fly

by holding a babe one minute

then walking a young boy to school,

the next hes off to war so cruel,

while we think time is infinite.

For all her life, he is her son,

the best thing she has ever done.

Ah, Patty....a beautiful dedication to your son! I love your son to bits...he was like my brother for so long! Then he stopped coming online and my phone crashed and I lost his number. I sure miss hearing from him. Joe's one of the "good 'uns" that I made a wonderful connection with, and would love to reconnect with.

Let him know that "Cattle Prod Joe" needs to come back so he can fight Jerry Springer crime with his super hero sidekick, SB. He will know what SB stands for, LOL....Tell him that the D.O.G.s are still trying to take over the library and I need his help!

Also, tell him that Slug-Snot Computers just can't continue to operate without him around.

Yeah, he'll know what you're talking about, lol. I really do miss him...I know he wrestles with a lot of things on his mind, but I want him to know that his pal and sidekick is still here whenever he wants to gimme a yell.

This was such a sweet dedication, and i pray he reads it and understands that a mother's love is something that nothing else in this world can erase or replace.

Hugs to you, my friend!
