Curse The Darkness
I think its better to light one candle
than to curse the darkness

Silence which proclaims
 the soul to decend with
its appearance
Silence has placed its iron claws
 into a wounded heart that
had woven its threads
 Silence becomes even stronger
when the spirit wavers....

A wonderful poem.  I have grown accustomed to the darkness and find comfort in it.  Hopefully someday I'll learn it's much better to be in the light.

I think that is a very wise line, kid...Red Eagle

Darkness is eliminated by talking things over and lighting that simple light of communication to a mate or friend. A very simple poem brilliantly written

I loved your poem, but I prefer the darkness sometimes.   At night I turn every light off.  It's great, very peaceful and relaxing.  I enjoy walking late at night in places that are completely dark, almost a little scary.  It's a great, tranquil environment to think in.
