The Message
God breathed a loving sigh with Eden's first dew of morn,
but there were none to hear it, so Adam and Eve he formed.

He sent his devotion to man with writings on tablets of stone,
but the laws were quickly broken, and only blood could then atone.

Again God spoke forgiveness when his Son came to earth,
but his own were unimpressed with one of such lowly birth.

So finally, God called out to man a message that could not be lost;
he silently screamed, "I love you!", with Christ's death on the cross.
