Turn the tide within your soul
And let your winds flow free
Set beside a crying child
Give comfort upon your knee

Wake the wonder within his eyes
For dreams must grow beyond
The set confines created by man
That they might live and bound

Author's Notes:

Open the eyes and mind of a child and you will be amazed
at what he may achieve

Yest another poem with such depth.. Children are like sponges....
They listen more than  we know....I know from time to time the little girl in me has to giggle....

 I still love the child that lives in my heart;  grandmother gave me imagination...a place where dreams start;
then cardboard boxes became ships at sea, and blankets over card tables housed dragons and me.
Because she taught me to dream drudgery away, I learned that, if done right, work can be play;
 so now when my hours are comprised of labor, I return to a childhood that my mind can savor.

Another wonderful poem.  I certainly love being around children I think they inspire me more than I could ever do for them
