But, it's called home.
Anne's Calender/ Things around the house

Talking boards, squeaking steps
ceiling leaks upon our necks
Cold moist air within our hair
makes us wish that we weren't there.
Outside walk, outside steps.
outside water falls down our necks.
Windows leak from blowing breezes;
blown in rain nearly freezes.
Can't get through the sticky door.
(It hits the bumps on the kitchen floor)
Fixed the sink near the stove.
To get the parts I drove and drove.
Maybe its time that we moved on ...
I like the fishing in the living room pond.

Author's Notes:

Mechanics drive junkers

Electricians keep supplies of candles around.
Teacher's kids are illiterate.
Carpenters live in houses that are falling apart.
What??      So ... I'm a carpenter.

Your poems always manage to bring a smile to my face. Great job with the poem Mr. Carpenter. Now where did that hammer go?
